Feeling Blessed.

I was feeling truly blessed yesterday. Pete called me from work and said he needed to go out on the road next week. Despite missing him, the money is better on the road and that opened the way for me to attend Devri's wedding. On top of that I got a ruling on my extended unemployment. I was worried considering the separation from the county. The Dept of labor contacted the county and they were actually really nice about my separation from them. They determined I was eligible for extended unemployment which adds a little to our income each week. This too is truly a blessing because my bills will be paid and I don't have to worry so much about my trip.

Pete and his brother were able to fix the heater in the Blazer so I can drive it down and meet him in Missoula. We will stay the night there on Wednesday and leave from Missoula for Ririe after Pete gets off work.

When things work out like that I just have to look to my father in heaven and remember that I really am loved and cared for. My prayers in this case have been answered if only for the next month or so. Working on things one day at a time and hoping that we find a more permanent solution.

Small blessings mean the most, sepecially when Heavenly Father is the only one who knows what your heart wants. Thank goodness for prayer...even the silent ones.

Thanks for keeping up with me and my family on our blog. I always love hearing from you and it would be great to get together but it will be a little bit hard now that we have moved to Vancouver,WA. We came here for a job this last summer and stayed. It was one of those stepps we felt was right but don't full understand...be we are where we need to be and love the area. If you ever come this way please let me know, I would love to see you. We should be in Pullman in May for graduation. Jon graduated in December and we were going to make the trip back to WSU so he could walk but the weather was bad so we will be there the end of this semester.

Hope you have a safe trip to Idaho :)

Hi Emily. I found you on Sarah's blog. She said you are living in Lewiston - we are in Moscow again! I'm glad that you guys were able to get things worked out to get to the wedding! Have a safe trip.
That is so good to hear. You know, a lot of times I have found similar situations in my life where I just needed that extra little bit and Heavenly Father blessed us to get through it.
